VOLT

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what VOLT Dating collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, mobile number, early access details, account details, profile content, preferences, messages, reports, and support requests.

We may also collect basic technical information, such as device type, browser type, IP address, log data, cookie data, and usage activity on our website or app.

When you participate in a VOLT question campaign, we may collect the question and answer, campaign and placement identifiers, waitlist status, and related website activity. We use analytics providers, including Mixpanel, to understand campaign performance. We do not send your mobile number to campaign analytics.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve VOLT.
  • Build safer, more relevant introductions and conversations.
  • Respond to support requests and early access signups.
  • Operate question campaigns and measure waitlist conversion.
  • Send product updates, service notices, and security messages.
  • Detect abuse, protect users, and enforce our terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate VOLT, when required by law, to protect safety or rights, as part of a business transaction, or with your consent.

No mobile information will be sold, shared, rented, released, or traded to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the messaging providers that deliver the messages on our behalf. We do not send your mobile number to campaign analytics.

Text Messages

If you join the VOLT waitlist and agree to receive texts, we send recurring automated marketing messages about the VOLT launch and early access, including a launch notification around October 25, 2026. Message frequency varies, at about one to four messages per month. Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you.

Agreeing to receive texts is optional. It is not a condition of using VOLT or of any purchase. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or reply HELP for assistance. You can also contact us at hello@voltdating.com. Our Terms of Service describe the messaging program in full.

Your Choices

You can ask to access, update, or delete your information by contacting us. You can also opt out of non-essential email by using the unsubscribe link, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, reply HELP to any text for assistance, or contact us directly.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide VOLT, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect users, and maintain security. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online service is perfect, so please use care when sharing personal details.

Age Requirement

VOLT is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy as VOLT changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
